In a Moment

Arms creep around me from behind
My breath catches in my throat
My heart jumps then begins a rapid staccato beat
A shiver running down my spine

A face buried in my hair
My heartbeat gradually slows
My spirit brightens, lighting my eyes with joy
A warmth enveloping me gently

A soft breath on my neck
My body relaxing in the embrace
My fingers softly sliding over familiar hands
A knowing smile appears on my lips

A tenderly whispered "I Love You"
My heart melts, fears and worries fade away
My soul breaths a sigh, feeling a sense of peace
And we both know we are....
